This simple and powerful tool automatically enables "USB Tethering" for you as soon as you connect your phone to a device via USB cable.
Just set it up and forget it. AutoTether makes your life easier by running silently in the background.
**HOW DOES IT WORK?**
The app uses Android's Accessibility Service to provide this automation.
1. Activate the service from within the application.
2. Grant the required Accessibility Permission once.
3. Connect your phone to your computer via USB.
4. AutoTether will automatically go to Settings > Internet Sharing and activate the "USB Tethering" option for you.
That's all!
**PRIVACY AND SECURITY ARE MOST IMPORTANT**
AutoTether fully respects your privacy. While the Accessibility Service permission is a powerful permission, our app uses it ONLY and ONLY when the following conditions are met:
* Triggered ONLY when USB cable is connected.
* Clicks the button in the corresponding menu to ONLY turn on the "USB Tethering" setting.
* It does not read ANY other screens, collect your data, or perform any other action.
The app remains completely inactive except for performing its core function. Your personal data is secure.
