Περιγραφή
Your BFL IPE application, connected via Bluetooth to the device, regularly collects moisture data from the wall on which the I.P.E® unit is installed, frequently and at regular intervals, to provide you with a complete history of your home’s drying process. Important note: Bluetooth data collection only occurs when you are near the device with your phone and the application is running. In the case of a secondary home or if the device is installed far from your main living areas, make sure to take a reading approximately once a month to obtain a consistent series of measurements.
How does it work?
The I.P.E® dries walls and eliminates rising damp by continuously emitting very low frequencies into the structure of the building. The drying period is 6 to 12 months for optimal results. Once this period has passed, it is important to keep the device plugged in to continue permanently protecting your home. To check that the device is working properly, simply look at the two LEDs on the side of the unit. If the red and green LEDs are both continuously lit, the device is functioning. Avoid power outages and maintain good ventilation (natural or mechanical) to support the wall-drying process.
Interpretation of results
The collected data can be interpreted as follows:
0: very dry
A sustained decrease confirms drying
A stable, low score indicates a dry wall
An increase over several readings may indicate a water leak
Examples of results
5: dry wall
25: damp wall
70: very damp wall
99: extremely damp
