O caso mais comum de burn in se dá com os botões virtuais de navegação do Android e os ícones do topo da tela que são exibidos quase 100% do tempo que a tela está ligada.
As fabricantes em geral afirmam que a garantia não cobre burn in, pois o problema caracteriza mau uso do aparelho.
Uma vez que a tela está com o Burn In, existem diversos softwares para ajudar a resolver o problema.
O ajuste geralmente consiste em forçar um reset dos pixels, e isso é feito através de um equilíbrio de cores, o processo pode levar de 10 minutos à algumas horas, dependendo do aparelho e da gravidade do problema.
