Defapp is a personal safety and emergency app for situations in which you feel unsafe and want to quickly gain time, activate help, and attract attention – discreetly, easily, and without explanations.
Defapp is there for exactly this moment: when your gut feeling sounds the alarm, but you can still act.
Safety when seconds count
Defapp was developed especially for situations in which you are alone and particularly vulnerable, for example:
- on your way home in the dark
- while jogging or walking
- on public transportation
- in a taxi or ride-sharing service
- at home when you are alone
With minimal interaction, you can react immediately in an emergency.
In an emergency, Defapp allows you to:
- trigger a call for help to your emergency contacts
- automatically share your current location
- attract attention to gain time
No calls. No questions asked.
Self-protection through light and noise
In defense mode, Defapp can activate additional security features:
- A bright strobe light that irritates or blinds
- An extremely loud alarm tone that deters and calls for help
- An automatic short video recording for documentation
Not to fight—but to gain time and speed up help.
Trigger help – even under stress
Defapp is designed to work reliably even in stressful situations:
- Two taps are enough
- A swipe or shake is enough
No countdowns. No complicated key combinations. No uncertainty about whether something will be triggered.
A network that supports you
Connect Defapp with people you trust. In an emergency, they will know immediately that help is needed – and where you are.
Defapp is not a substitute for emergency calls or personal assistance. It is a complementary safety app that gives you room for maneuver when it matters.

Note: Defapp is not a substitute for calling the police or emergency medical services, nor is it a substitute for physical self-defense. However, the app can help you gain time, attract attention, and activate help more quickly.
