Application Screens
√ Home (Location): Displays real-time location data (latitude, longitude, altitude, accuracy, speed, bearing) with options to save, send, or open the current location in a map app. A dialog allows users to add optional names and descriptions before saving.
√ Saved Locations: Lists all saved locations with long-press options to send, open, or delete individual entries. Supports sharing all saved locations as a ZIP file.
√ About: Provides app details, including version number and storage directory path, along with support contact information.
Supported File Formats
√ TXT: Simple text format for basic location data, including coordinates, altitude, accuracy, speed, bearing, name, and description.
√ KML: Keyhole Markup Language, compatible with Google Earth and other GIS tools, for structured geospatial data.
√ GPX: GPS Exchange Format, widely used for sharing waypoints and tracks in navigation apps.
Notices
√ Doze Mode: The app may not function correctly if Doze Mode is enabled. To ensure optimal performance, add Easy Location Saver to the Doze Mode whitelist in your device’s settings (Settings > Battery > Battery Optimization).
√ Permissions Required:
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Mandatory for accessing precise GPS data.
√ Location Services: Ensure GPS or network location services are enabled for accurate location data. The app will notify you if location services are disabled.
√ Storage: Location files are stored in the app’s private directory under Downloads/easylocationsaver for secure and organized access.
