Folder Notes - Nested Notepad
As notes grow, the real problem becomes remembering where they were saved and how to find them again.

Folder Notes - Nested Notepad is a text-focused note app for quickly saving text from other apps and organizing it with folders inside folders.

Main data is stored on your device, with optional local and Google Drive backups.

■ QUICK CAPTURE FROM OTHER APPS
Send text from browsers, social apps, and other apps that support Android sharing, then save it as a memo.
Choose the Inbox, the previously used folder, or another folder. Save immediately or edit before saving.

■ TODAY'S MEMO
Keep adding to the same memo throughout the day.
Open Today's Memo or a new memo from the app icon shortcuts. Choose the folder and template used for Today's Memo.

■ NESTED FOLDERS
Create folders inside folders and build a structure that fits your projects.
Add tags and colors to memos and folders, sort them in several ways, or move items manually.

■ NOTE TEMPLATES
Create meeting notes, daily reports, reading notes, research notes, and other recurring documents from templates.
Use variables for dates, times, weekdays, custom date formats, input fields, and destination folder names. Templates can also set the folder, tags, text and background colors, shortcut registration, and whether to open the editor.
Create, edit, and reorder your own templates.

■ TABS
Open related memos in tabs and switch between them while reading or editing.
Use recently closed tabs and tab groups.

■ DETAILED SEARCH
Search by title, body, tags, colors, creation date, update date, and other conditions.
Search only the current folder or include subfolders.
Save frequently used conditions with a name, load them later, and reorder saved searches.

The app also supports case-insensitive search, regular expressions, and reusable search patterns.
Search and replace inside a memo. Regular-expression replace-all operations can be reviewed before they are applied.

■ QUICK ACCESS
Pin frequently used memos and folders to shortcuts inside the app.
Add home-screen widgets for displaying a memo or creating a new memo.

■ TXT IMPORT AND EXPORT
Import individual TXT files or TXT files from a selected folder.
Export memos as TXT while preserving the folder structure, so your data remains usable outside the app.

First-time setup also supports TXT import and backup restoration.

■ BACKUP AND RESTORE
Create local backups on your device.
Manual and automatic backups to the app-specific storage area in Google Drive are also supported.
New backups are encrypted with a separate passphrase, which is required for restoration.
Google Drive is used for backup and restore, not real-time synchronization between devices.

■ LOCK AND PRIVACY
Lock a memo or folder and require a password before opening its contents.
You can also require a password when launching the app and hide its contents in the recent-apps screen.
These locks restrict on-screen access. They do not encrypt memo data stored on the device.

■ TRASH
Deleted memos and folders are moved to the Trash first, so they can be restored after an accidental deletion.
