• Controls that matter: Fine-grained options to pause, hide, or stop sharing anytime.

• Consent required: Everyone must opt in. No hidden or stealth tracking.
• Persistent notice: An ongoing notification is shown while location sharing is active.
• Background location: Used to update live location and geofence alerts when the app is closed. You can turn this off in Settings at any time.
