Description
This application accurately calculates the main geometric elements of a horizontal curve:
• PC and PT stations
• Tangent, external, middle ordinate
• Curve length, chord, sub-chords
• Deflection angles
Upon launching the app, users can choose whether to input the PI or the PC using an interactive selector. Based on this choice, the app automatically calculates the complementary point and all associated elements, adapting to various layout scenarios. This flexible logic reflects real-world technical reasoning in the field, saving time and reducing errors.
Available in eight languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, and Norwegian Bokmål.
This multilingual coverage makes the app suitable for international academic and professional environments, ensuring terminological precision and consistency across languages.
The app also generates a complete layout table with a visual design optimized for fieldwork: alternating row colors enhance readability and minimize mistakes during topographic operations.
