Descripción
Unlike the always on displays built into operating systems, this app allows for some additional features.
First of all, the time is horizontal and has a very large font to make it easier to read.
Seconds are present.
Every 5 seconds, the on-screen text shifts so as to avoid burn in and protect the life of the display.
Below the time we find the date and the battery percentage.
The battery percentage will turn green if the phone is plugged in.
A tap on the display will activate the flashlight, turning the phone into a nightlight (I suggest setting the flashlight to minimum via your phone's settings so as not to overheat the LED lamp)
A long tap will change the time format from 24 to 12 hours (am/pm)
The application is made available with completely open source code and found on github (DamianoP/Night-Clock).
Having the open source code allows you to prove that the app does nothing more than what is claimed, does no background work, and does no profiling.
There is no advertising and no user data is collected.
Anyone who wants can access github, download the code, compile it, and install the app
