Notepad Text Editor is a simple and powerful app that lets you edit and create text files on your Android device. Whether you need to write a note, a code snippet, a script, or a document, Notepad Text Editor can handle it with ease and efficiency.
With Noteapad Text Editor, you can:
Open and edit any text file in various formats, such as TXT, HTML, XML, CSS, JS, PHP, and more.
Create new text files from scratch.
Save and share your files.
Customize your editor with fonts, sizes
View Any File Format - Using this Classic Notepad Text Editor, you can open and view any kind of plain text file including TXT, HTML, JAVA, XML, CSS, JS, PHP, PY, JSON and much more. It is not just limited to text files, it can also open unknown file formats and view them as plain text.
Edit Any File Format- Classic Notepad editor, as the name suggests, can be used to edit files of different formats using its powerful editing feature. Think of it as PC Notepad which has the potential to open and edit any kind of file format. You can make edits and save changes to your existing file. You also get the option to create a seperate file using the "Save As" option. It is a popular JSON editor and HTML editor app too.
Change File Extensions - Using Notepad Editor, you can easily change the format of the newly saved file by providing a different extension. To use this simply click on the "Save As" button and rename the file extension to your required type.
Undo And Redo - Notepad comes with the useful undo and redo feature to correct accidental mistakes. Undo command is used to reverse the last action performed. Redo command is used to reverse the undo action.
Cut, Copy and Paste - This classic text editor comes with common clipboard actions which can be availed with a single click. Cut, copy and paste are important tools when it comes to editing a file. Notepad editor has complete support for clipboard actions. Select All options lets you select the entire document without scrolling all the way down in the file.
Custom Fonts and Text Size - You can easily select your desired font and text size to view your file. Currently the text editor supports 9 different fonts and 16 standard text sizes. More fonts will be added in the coming updates.
Classic PC inspired design - The UI of Notepad Text Editor is inspired from the vintage PC Notepad. It has an intuitive user interface coupled with a powerful editor which is easy to use and user friendly. Notepad Text Editor works completely offline.
Privacy Focused - Unlike other notepad and text editor apps, we do not collect any user data. The text editor app works completelty offline and is not linked to any server for data storage. All your files are viewed and edited locally on your device. We value our user's privacy which keeps us on the top.
