Description
News stories of people having their home location and phone number identified from photos they posted on social media are all too common.
PrivaShield is an app that uses AI to automatically check for privacy risks hidden in photos in just a few seconds before posting.
◆ Why is it necessary?
Photos taken with your smartphone contain a lot of information you may not be aware of.
• GPS coordinates of the shooting location (EXIF information)
• Phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses visible in the background
• Your home identified from the view outside the window
• Faces and license plates of third parties
This information becomes accessible to anyone in the world the moment you upload it to social media.
PrivaShield visualizes "what is dangerous" before you press the post button, and makes it safe with a single tap.

◎ Clear Risk Score at a Glance
Detection results are displayed in three levels: "Safe / Caution / Dangerous." The level of danger, which can be difficult to understand from numbers alone, is intuitively understood through colors and words.
◎ Automatic Detection with AI
- EXIF metadata such as GPS location information, shooting date and time, and camera model
- Text in the image such as phone numbers, postal codes, email addresses, URLs, and license plates
- Faces of people captured in the image
◎ One-Tap Mosaic Processing
- Simply tap the detected area to turn mosaic ON/OFF. Four levels of intensity are available (weak, medium, strong, strongest).
◎ Complete Removal of EXIF Information
- All metadata, including GPS and shooting information, is removed when saving or sharing. The original image remains on your device, ensuring peace of mind.
◎ Before/After Preview
- Compare the image before and after processing instantly, allowing you to confirm that the image is hidden as intended before exporting.
