WHY THIS APP
Reading resistor color bands by hand is error-prone, especially for 5-band and 6-band resistors with tight tolerance. This calculator removes the guesswork. The interface is designed to be fast: pick colors, read the result, move on with your project. No ads in the middle of your work, no confusing menus, no clutter.
The color chart follows the international IEC 60062 standard so the results match what you see on any resistor from any manufacturer. The reverse calculator is handy when you need to find a specific resistance for a circuit and want to know which bands to look for.
