SCITP
Society of Chittagong IT Professionals (SCITP) is a non-profit common platform, formed by 800+ IT Professionals with a vision to promote “Chittagong – The NEXT TecHub”. SCITP now consists of around 30 CIO/CTOs and 70 IT Managers of 110 organizations where all major corporate houses, MNCs, ITES providers, ISPs, educational & financial institutions are there.

Initially we have started our journey with the name “Association of Chittagong IT Professionals (ACITP)”. But due to limitations in registering ACITP under Bangladesh Government’s “THE SOCIETIES REGISTRATION ACT, 1860” (ACT NO. XXI OF 1860), we had to change our name to “Society of Chittagong IT Professionals (SCITP)”.

OUR MISSION & VISION
SCITP was formed so that the IT Professionals of Chittagong has a common platform where they can Share Thoughts, Knowledge and experience with others and help each other to prosper. The Main Mission & Visions of SCITP are :

To promote fraternity among the IT Professionals of Chittagong and to help each other in up-dating and up-grading their technical and managerial Know-how through appropriate technical.

To undertake appropriate activities such as training courses, seminars, exhibitions.

To promote the exchange of technological, managerial and scientific knowledge through the exchange of visits, publications.

To publish journals, books and papers for benefit of the members of Association in particular and the citizens of Bangladesh in general.
