Sensor Playground presents every piece of hardware as an independent, interactive card. Each card provides a complete picture of a specific sensor's health and output:
Availability Detection: The app automatically identifies which sensors exist on your device and which are missing.
Live Raw Output: Activate a sensor to see its unfiltered data, such as X/Y/Z axes for motion or Lux levels for light.
Comprehensive Sensor Testing
Test each component individually to verify its operability. The app covers a wide range of hardware, including:
Motion & Orientation: Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and Gravity sensors.
Environmental: Barometer (atmospheric pressure), Ambient Light, and Magnetometer.
Position: Proximity, Rotation Vector, and Step Counters.

After testing your sensors, visit the Sensor Report for a persistent summary of your phone’s true capabilities. This detailed profile categorizes your hardware into three clear sections:
Available & Working: Sensors that exist and produce valid data.
Available but Not Responding: Hardware that is present but may be malfunctioning.
Not Available: Sensors that were never included in your device’s build.
