วิสัยทัศน์ตามแผนวิสาหกิจ การประปานครหลวง ฉบับที่ 5 (2563-2565) คือ "เป็นองค์กรสมรรถนะสูงที่ให้บริการงานประปา มีธรรมาภิบาล และได้มาตรฐานในระดับสากล” ซึ่งวางเป้าหมายการเป็นองค์กรสมรรถนะสูง ทั้งในด้านความยืดหยุ่่น (Resilience) ความคล่องตัว (Agility) และ การพัฒนาด้านนวัตกรรม (Innovation) รวมทั้งการดำเนินงานประปาอย่างมีมาตรฐาน ส่งมอบคุณค่า และลดความสูญเสีย (Operational Excellence)
โดยมีการลงทุนเพื่อซ่อมแซมและสร้างความมั่นคงของระบบประปา รวมทั้งการลงทุนขนาดใหญ่เพื่อสร้างเสถียรภาพของระบบประปาและรองรับความต้องการใช้น้ำในอนาคตตามโครงการปรับปรุงกิจการประปาแผนหลัก ครั้งที่ 9 พร้อมทั้งรักษาความมั่นคงทางการเงินเพื่อให้ กปน. สามารถบริหารจัดการและมีเงินมาลงทุนได้อย่างคล่องตัว แม้จะมีอัตราค่าน้ำที่คงที่ตลอดระยะเวลากว่า 20 ปี
ณ ปัจุบัน การประปานครหลวง (กปน.) ได้ทำการพัฒนา แอปพลิเคชัน ในการอำนวยความสะดวกให้กับทางเจ้าหน้าที่ในการจัดการน้ำสูญเสีย และการติดตามผลผ่านทางแอปพลิเคชันได้
โดยมีคุณสมบัติ ของ WLMA Pro Mobile (ระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการบริหารจัดการน้ำสูญเสีย)
ประกอบด้วย :
- การบันทึกข้อมูลการปฏิบัติงาน และการจัดเก็บข้อมูลรูปภาพ
- การแจ้งเตือนข้อมูลงาน และสถานะการปฏิบัติงาน
- การติดตามความคืบหน้าการปฏิบัติงาน
- การบันทึกข้อมูลปฏิบัติงานและการสำรวจท่อประปา
