Travel and experience the wonders of Sarawak with a simple tap of the screen using the
Sarawak More to Discover App.

Sarawak More to Discover App is an initiative spearheaded by the Sarawak government to
provide a seamless travel experience for both domestic and international travelers during
their visit to Sarawak. Using the technological features of Augmented Reality (AR) and
Virtual Reality (VR), this app provides all necessary travel information, allowing users to
easily navigate their way through all the unique experiences available in Sarawak.
Visitors to Sarawak will be able to customize their trip and stay in each city of Sarawak
according to four categories; to go, to stay, to eat and to shop. Essential information such as contact details and how to navigate one’s way to the recommended destinations are provided through this app. The search function on the app also allows users to navigate their way to other recommended destinations located nearby to their current locations.

Tourists looking for a close encounter with nature will be able to make full use of the app to learn more about the rich biodiversity and unique landscapes that Sarawak has to offer. The Sarawak More to Discover app provides tourists with easy access to all the information on these sites, simply by tapping on a few buttons.

The app also allows users to experience the unique and diverse cultures of Sarawak, as they can view videos photos and 3D models of Sarawak’s heritage sites, giving them the chance to have a better understanding of the diversity in Sarawak ahead of their visit. The app also offers suggestions on some of the best places to sample the gastronomic fare that is unique only to Sarawak.

The Sarawak More to Discover app also enables users to find out more about the latest
happenings in town, festivals and celebrations to look out for as well as serves as a quick and easy platform providing visitors with other useful information at the tips of their fingers. The app is both convenient and time-saving, allowing users to plan their travels seamlessly, without the additional hassle and worry about locating the Tourist Bureau in order to source for materials.

This application also gives users a truly exciting experience with the use of cutting-edge
technology such as AR, VR and the street view feature. The interactive AR feature
communicates with users, providing them with additional information on their screens. VR
features of the app lets users immerse themselves in the virtual experience, allowing them to view various sites as though they are in reality.
