The Swap and surf APP has two main functions :
1-GEOLOCALIZE A S&s MEMBER “surf trip angel” AROUND YOU
This feature is only available to Swap and surf's members.
Called "surf trip angel", S&s's members willing to feature on the APP are spotted on a map around where you are located. By clicking on the icon, you can send a private message to any "surf trip angel".
This network give you the opportunity to reach the local surf scenery
Ex : you need a ride, you would like to share a surf session, get few tips...
2-GIVE ALL RESSOURCES A TRAVELING SURFER WOULD NEED
This feature is open to all surfer. You just have to download the APP, free, and look for solutions around you
If you need to repair your surfboard, find a family friendly surf spot, a good surf shop…
And to be sure that those informations are the finest, they will be provided by the local surfers of each area. All resources have been recommended by S&s members, without any other intermediaries.

HOW IT WORKS
After a swap and surf member has connected on the APP, he's able to tag places and to add a short description and a picture.
Those submissions allow us to build a world map of all informations a traveling surfer need.
Any surfers can use the APP to find solutions like “where to fix a board”. He just needs to download the APP for free and to scroll the themes according to his problems or his desires. The APP will geolocalize you and gives all resources around you.
If you want to go to a particular Point of Interest, you can click on “get me there” to launch your navigation APP to drive you to the place you want to go
So far, you can choose out of 8 themes :
- The local surf shop ?
- Where to fix a surfboard ?
- It’s flat, what to do to get action ?
- Where to rent a surfboard ?
- Surfers friendly bar, restaurant … ?
- A surf spot for family time ?
- Need a physiotherapist ?
- Gallery, museum about surf ?
You can also rate a places recommended (only S&s’s members)
