1.4.4 Patch Notes (20/09/24)

Support for custom modded languages

See the following file within the game's install folder for instructions on how it works:

Note that the English/Spanish/French fonts will be used for any added languages, so only languages with similar character sets will render correctly. The following characters are supported in addition to the English alphabet: ÀÁÂÄÆÇÈÉÊËÍÎÏÑÓÔÙÚÛÜßàáâäæçèéêëíîïñóôöùúûü

Fixed being able to lock yourself on the wrong side of a door in Mournsalt

Fixed being able to lock yourself out of an area in Ricochet Rumble

Slightly improved layout of one Darkcross and one Polyandrium room

Made sure a late game room in which a campfire and a door are both unlocked, that if for some reason the door didn't open it will be opened upon revisiting the room (fixes a progress blocker that was reported)
1.4.2 Patch Notes (18/08/23)

New Ricochet Rumble Challenge, unlocked by acquiring the "3 for 1" achievement (defeating the 2nd boss in the main game).

Improved Gallery challenge by displaying higher res versions of posters upon interaction.

On PC, the posters can now also be found in your file system at [game install location]/Batbarian_ Testament of the Primordials_Data/StreamingAssets/Posters

Reordered the list of challenges in the menu to be in the order they are likely unlocked in the course of playing the main game.

Improved behavior of a specific portal in a late game room.

Limited number of times a repetitively bouncing throwable could continue playing sounds over the top of each other, and fixed a calculation for how the volume of that sound is affected by the player's volume settings.

Fixed a save slot bug that could occur when reloading from a campfire before ever sitting at a campfire.

Removed analytics reporting from the game, and the relevant game setting option to enable it (now that the game has been out for a while our updates are small and infrequent enough that this isn't really needed anymore).

Fixed being able to lock yourself behind a door in a room in Polyandrium

Made it easier to get to a secret chest in a room in Mournsalt involving teleporters

Fixed some French translations

Reworded a reference to the player character's weapon to work better with either character option
1.2.1 Patch Notes (15/11/21)

Today's the day we finally release French language support for Batbarian: Testament of the Primordials! Thank you to everyone who has patiently waited for this! In addition, there are some other text and font related bug fixes, the full patch notes can be found below. To stay closer to the original NPCs and to have dialog support any gender for the player character we decided to use "inclusive French". Enjoy!

Aujourd'hui nous sortons enfin l'update pour avoir Batbarian : Testament of the Primordials dispo dans la langue de Molière! Merci à tous ceux qui ont longtemps patienté tout ce temps pour ça ! De plus, il y a également des corrections pour d'autres textes et polices de caractère, les notes complète de changements sont trouvable ci-dessous. Afin de rester au plus proche des textes des personnages originaux et pour permettre aux dialogues du héro d’accommoder tout les genres nous avons décider d'utiliser l' écriture inclusive pour le jeux. Bon jeux!

Improved Icon sizing in some fonts

Fixed item switching tutorial text covering the UI element it's highlighting in some languages/fonts

Fixed lots of extra white space in the description for throwing styles in Spanish.

Fixed ON/OFF/Exclusive full screen text not being translated

Increased width of Controls Settings screen to support some long text

Increased width of Monster Name text in the Bestiary to support some long names

Added French Translation, Proofreading, and LQA to Credits
