The year is 2089. For decades past, the availability of natural resources and livable conditions has declined to the point of societal collapse. Nations have made room for city-states and corporations, and the planet is on the brink of an ecological collapse that will leave nothing left alive.
During mankind’s last breath arises a shadowy network of conspirators, bent on saving the human species using any means necessary – even if it means sacrificing all it means to be alive.
Follow the trails of a mysterious organization across a dying Earth, in an atmospheric singleplayer adventure spanning seven locations across six continents.
FIND YOUR OWN PATH
In Core Decay, combat is high-stakes and unforgiving, but it is not the only path to success. You may find it useful to avoid hostile engagement altogether and instead find creative solutions to reach your goals.
Talk to and persuade people, explore alternate routes, hack computers and security systems, discover lost logs, keycodes and passwords, and use every tool at your disposal to reach your objectives.
BATTLE FOR SURVIVAL
When you do choose to engage in combat, you can make use of a wide arsenal of weapons and other lethal and non-lethal equipment. The combat system in Core Decay is visceral, but prepare carefully, read the situation, and you will find yourself at an advantage.
Use a variety of firearms, set mines and other traps, hack bots to attack their allies, upgrade your weapons with attachments - or take an entirely non-lethal route by incapacitating enemies through electric prods, stun guns and other crowd control armaments.
DEFINE YOUR HUMANITY
You are an anomaly. Waking up in a cryo storage pod with little recollection of your past, you find yourself far less human than you remember – and far more of a machine. With strange but powerful new abilities, you are forced to reconcile with your new self, and understand what it means to be alive.
Upgrade yourself with over 50 game-changing cybernetic implants - run faster, jump higher, see through walls, become immune to toxic gas, turn yourself invisible, and much more.
