When we created Tempest, we focused on the most thrilling part of pirate life – sea battles.
As you navigate the dangerous waters of the game you won’t just catch up with merchants, but you will encounter fellow pirates, creepy followers of a mysterious cult and terrible mythical monsters: Kraken, Leviathan and other infamous creatures. Your ship – the pride and joy of any freebooter – can be customized in many ways. You are free to change almost everything – from the color of your flag and sails to the ship’s hull and figurehead.
Of course, there are plenty of weapons to choose from for every battle, including cannons, mortars, flame throwers and so on. Also there are special tools ready to help you to rig the ship for any purpose. However, you can win the most valuable artifacts only by finishing the multilevel quests called “legends”.

In this update, we reworked the online part of the game, the search for players has become faster, the connection to the server is more stable. Now playing with friends and players from all over the world has become much easier.
In addition, we have fixed the problem with obtaining some achievements.
Patch 1.5 (8 July 2021)
Added 7 new flags and 5 new sails for ship's customization.
New long-range cannon and experimental long-range projectiles are now available, allowing you to fight at an unprecedented distance.
Of course, bug fixes are also included in this build. Rumours say the "Sea Wolf" achievement can now be successfully obtained.
P.S. To receive a quest for the new weapon, you need to sink at least 20 ships.

Added gamepad support;
Added PvP tournament mode for ten players plus spectators;
Added lootable chests for boarding scenes;
Crew members can now be seen onboard in first person view mode;
Lightening effects can now be turned off - some players reported them to be way too uncomfortable to see;
Non-quest encounters are now 15-20% rarer to happen on the global map;
Captured ships no loger fire with their stern guns and chasers;
Morale drops decreased on Hard;
50% more money on Easy, 25% more on Normal;
Monsters armor decreased on high levels;
Plenty of bug and text fixes;

A total redesign of the boarding - dive into a full 3D action sequince and slice 'em all!
Ships are much, much prettier now - all of them were graphically updates to match the new boarding.
Added chase guns mounted in the bow and stern which shoot automtiaclly with chain shots.
