The radiation rework shines with a new overlay showing local levels, rain that cleanses radiation, and irradiated food and water that challenge your survival skills. New missions guide you through these changes, and upgraded storage buildings now clear irradiated resources. You'll also find hops and weed as new resources, a Beacon building to honor thriving settlements, and decorative statues unlocked in late-game missions. A new wave of improvements is here! This update introduces Education, with Schools, Paper Mills, and a system where settlers earn badges for buffs and expeditions. Children now grow into the next generation, and the Bulletin Board helps settlers notify you of missions. Expeditions expand with the Endzone and Airfield sites, while Modding gets a soft launch for early experimentation.
We've also added Upcycling improvements with new ruins like the Park, Hospital, and Fish Farm, plus "Find Trader" missions. Settlers have improved life cycles and visuals, making your world feel more alive.
Finally, numerous fixes and tweaks enhance UI, pathfinding, missions, and expeditions, alongside balancing updates for radiation, trade, and resources. Dive in and explore!
Some parts of the game localization are currently auto translated and several new voice overs are missing. We'll update both as soon as possible in upcoming updates.

This update introduces new trading mechanics, enhanced electricity management, and UI refinements to improve your gameplay experience. Traders missions can be completed directly in the trading post UI now, and resource flow calculations have been improved. Electricity management sees major upgrades, including power poles that can now be built on streets and better visualization of the energy network. We’ve identified issues that could cause freezes and crashes when using Vulkan. As a result, we’ve optimized the DirectX 11 version to deliver comparable performance and improved stability. DirectX 11 is now the default launch option. If you’ve experienced freezes or crashes, please try running DirectX 11. Vulkan remains available but is currently considered unstable.

today we release a regular update that brings QOL features and bug fixes. Ingame statistic data will start to be collected with this update so in order to have the statistics window display data some ingame time has to pass. Also this is the first version of a statistics window which will be further improved in future updates.

• Statistics:A statistics window was added that gives detailed information about each resource in a settlement.
• Settlers:Settlers now have different names.
• Settlers:Settlers can now be renamed.
• Vehicles:Vehicles can now be renamed.
• Expeditions:Added help texts for expeditions. These will also trigger once in savegames if help texts have not been disabled.
• Expeditions:The expedition overview now gives more detailed information about all available locations.

• Expeditions:Fixed error when leaving the nuclear power plant expedition while inside the nuclear power plant.
• System:Slightly decreased loading times.
• System:Fixed a bug when starting a new session, while another session was already active.
• UI:Several fixes for zone notifications and global notifications.
• Audio:Fixed audio not updating correctly when moving the camera via minimap.
• Gameplay:Buildings that spawn objects into the world no longer stop working (e.g. Recycling Center). This slightly reverts the performance changes from our last hotfix but we're already working on further improving the system.
• Zone Occupation:Cancelling zone occupation now correctly removes the access point.
