Veel mensen ervaren spanning en bijbehorende symptomen zoals misselijkheid of duizeligheid wanneer ze worden geprikt. Deze reacties worden veroorzaakt door onbewuste processen waar je geen directe controle over hebt.
Onderzoekers van Tilburg University en Sanquin hebben een methode ontwikkeld waarmee aan je gezicht kan worden afgelezen of deze onbewuste processen actief zijn, zelfs voordat je zelf last begint te krijgen. Dit stelt ons in staat om te voorspellen wanneer je je onwel zou kunnen gaan voelen. Dankzij kunstmatige intelligentie en de videofunctie van je smartphone of tablet is dit mogelijk.
Speel AINAR terwijl je in de wachtruimte zit, voordat je geprikt wordt. In het spel vlieg en spring je met je avatar over heuvels. Probeer zo hoog en ver mogelijk te springen en vang insecten! Als het spel 'ziet' dat je onbewust symptomen van spanning ontwikkelt, zal het gaan regenen of sneeuwen.
