Players start with seven cards and the first player lays down any card from their hand. In a clockwise direction, players lay down a card from their hand that matches either the suit or the rank of the first card played. If a player cannot lay down a card, they must take a card from the deck and hey continue taking cards until they draw a playable card, there are no cards left in the deck or their hand reaches 13 cards.
Play continues until a player wins the hand by playing their last card (BOOM!) and the winner is awarded points according to the cards remanning in the other players hands - picture cards are worth ten and all other cards are face value. Matches can consist of 8, 16 or 32 hands.
