You need to make strategic and tactical choices on entering more Ludo pegs if you roll a six again or to continue your path to reach the home area. Along the way, if you’re lucky, you’ll roll the exact dice needed to take out an opponent’s lodo peg. But be careful, your opponent can do the same to you. It’s why in the German version the name of the board game translates to “Man, Don’t Get Angry” because of the sheer frustration of having to roll a 6 to move your piece again.
Hopefully, you won’t encounter any rage quitters in your online pvp ludo matches but even if you do, take that in good spirits as the game’s german name suggests. In Lucky Ludo you’re also able to communicate with the other 3 players using pre-written message prompt buttons to show reactions to the situation or get a rise out of them.
There are some helpful tips to consider as the Ludo master if you want to enter the Ludo club hall of fame, the obvious one is having at least two pegs active on the field at a time but the most critical tip is keeping an eye on options to take out your opponent’s pieces when the opportunity comes.
Lastly, when you reach the home area, you need to make a prediction on your luck since to enter the 4 slot home area, you need the exact roll for that slot so position your lodo pegs accordingly so that you’re not stuck with your last peg waiting for a 6 or 1 dice roll.
