Polaris Tactical Pulse Nest is a minimalist logic game designed for two players who control magnetic tokens with opposite polarities, positive and negative, as they compete to dominate a 5x5 energy grid. Each token emits a magnetic field that interacts with its neighbors: like poles repel each other while opposite poles attract, creating a dynamic and strategic gameplay experience.
Players aim to build stable configurations, form magnetic chains, and strategically push the opponent’s tokens off the board to score points. The game combines simple rules with complex dynamics, where a single move can trigger a chain reaction that dramatically shifts the balance of power on the board.
The game takes place on a 5x5 grid, with each cell able to hold one token of either polarity. When a token is placed, it influences adjacent pieces through magnetic forces. The edges of the board act as boundaries where tokens can be pushed out and removed from the game. The objective is to score more points than your opponent by forcing their tokens beyond these edges.
A match is played over a maximum of 20 turns or ends immediately if one player loses all their tokens. This structure encourages careful planning and foresight as players weigh each move’s potential consequences on the evolving magnetic field.
