But there’s a twist – you don’t just dodge. You control time. Tap the glowing button in the lower corner and the world slows down. Gaps widen, walls crawl, and your reactions stretch into superhuman precision. Use this wisely – slowing time drains energy, and when your bar runs dry, survival depends entirely on raw reflexes.
Gems, Lives, and Energy
Along the way, glittering yellow gems appear in the gates. Each one collected adds to your score, restores a burst of energy, and pushes you toward unlocking extra lives. The first set of gems awards your first bonus life quickly – after that, each life requires determination, precision, and a streak of flawless gate runs.
Every gem matters. Snatch one at the right moment, and you might extend a run that seemed doomed. Ignore them, and you’ll soon run out of slow-time energy, leaving you vulnerable to the brutal rhythm of collapsing walls.
Grace and Comebacks
Mistakes happen – and Time Gate respects that. Crash into a wall while you still have lives left, and the game doesn’t immediately end. Instead, you’re granted a countdown grace period.
