• Creative Problem-Solving: The tools in the game are ingeniously designed without explicit instructions. Players must explore their functions within the levels. Use tools to move, attack, or even create entirely new paths, unlocking diverse ways to solve puzzles.
• Strategy and Timing Challenges: Beyond route planning, the sequence of picking up tools, the timing of their use, and path selection are critical. Push or pull objects in the environment to alter terrain and gain strategic advantages.
• Balancing Enemy Elimination and Objectives: Eliminating enemies is a required condition for completing a level. However, the key lies in choosing the right moment to attack. At times, you can temporarily leave enemies in place to assist with route planning or create advantageous positions, but they must all be defeated in the end to clear the stage.
• Challenge and Experimentation: In Crash Blocks, encountering dead ends is part of the experience. The game provides a limited number of undo and restart options, allowing players to either take back their last move or retry the entire level. With no time pressure or forced “best routes,” players are encouraged to explore freely, unleash creativity, and find their own solutions.
