Gameplay:
In Hexa Stack, players are presented with a board with limited positions where they can stack hexagonal tiles. The objective is to sort and stack hexagons of the same color into piles, each consisting of 10 layers. Once a stack reaches 10 layers, it is removed from the board, granting the player points and making room for new hexagons.
As players accumulate points, they can unlock additional slots on the board, expanding their playing field and providing more strategic options for organizing the hexagons. This point-based expansion system adds a layer of depth to the game, encouraging players to aim for high scores to maximize their potential moves.
Challenges:
Adding to the complexity, Hexa Stack introduces various obstacles that players must overcome. Some stacks of hexagons come locked with chains, ice, stone, and other impediments, which are strategically placed on the board. To unlock these stacks, players must clear adjacent hexagons, gradually freeing the locked ones with each successful move.
The game gradually ramps up the difficulty with each level, introducing new challenges and requiring players to refine their strategy to progress. The absence of time limits allows players to take their time and plan their moves carefully, ensuring a thoughtful and satisfying puzzle-solving experience.
