This is a classic peg solitaire puzzle game that seems easy but it is a brain teaser. It can be a challenge to solve! There are many levels that can be played, more than just the classic shape! This game was inspired by the same famous Peg game from the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store!

The classic version of the peg solitaire game comes all the way back to the time of 1687 during the reign of Louis XIV. A story that is widely told is that a prisoner that was incarcerated in the jail cells of Bastille created this game as a means of passing the time. The popularity of this puzzle spread across the world, resulting in varieties such as the triangular boards found in traditional Cracker Barrel dining spots situated all over the US.
