Περιγραφή
Longevity shows that a simple addition to game mechanics can greatly increase the complexity of the game.
How?
This game is basically 4-in-a-row with expiring pieces.
With each piece you place, select its longevity—how long it will last (10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 turns)
The rules are still the same. First person that connects at least 4 pieces in a row will win.
But with expiring pieces, the game becomes less predictable, and becomes more strategic.
Set up traps with quickly expiring pieces, or trump the other player's plans with a longer lasting piece, or even fool with a decoy piece that isn't part of the plan.. (heh heh).. The possibilities are endless.
Various styles of gameplay are possible :)
