Your time is valuable, and so is your expertise. Others want to learn what you know, and are willing to pay for that experience.
Wouldn't it be great if you could earn money while sharing your hard-earned knowledge? Listeners provides a personalized, unstructured learning experience where you can help point others in the right direction, and be adequately compensated for your time.
* As an expert, you have significant experience in the topics that you advertise in your profile
* The person you’re talking with controls the conversation, but your expertise is your most valuable product and is what users are willing to pay for

On Your Schedule
Make yourself available at a time convenient for you. Users will reserve all or parts of your available time slots. Sometimes on-demand calls will come in from users that want to talk now without having to make a reservation.
You are a busy person, and your attention is in constant demand. If you have a few minutes here and there, though, why not fill that time with a time slot with something that can earn you money?
* If a user that wants to learn from you is available during your time slot and is willing to pay, they will make a reservation
* Time slots even as short as a few minutes are possible
* When the time comes, you’ll get a call and be connected in order to start earning money
Earn Money
You control the per-minute rate that you set for your time. The money adds up, and you get paid each month.
Some skills are hard to monetize, but Listeners provides an outlet for you to share your skills and earning money while doing it. Maximize the use of your time!
* You set a per-minute rate in dollars-and-cents
* Users see your rate, along with your profile and time slots, and decide whether or not to reserve a time slot with you
* You get paid once per month on the 15th
Talk About Anything
You can add any topic that you want to your profile, but some people just want you to listen when they need to talk.
For the people that reserve your time, sometimes just listening patiently to them can bring them relief. Also, sometimes just talking out a problem with someone as a sounding board can them self-discover new ideas and new approaches.

Do I really earn money?
Yes! As an expert, you value your time and have the freedom to set a price that is commensurate with their expertise. Rates can go as low as the equivalent of 1 cent per minute, and there is no maximum rate. When you talk with users that have reserved time with you, you earn money at the rate you set for the length of time you spend talking with the user, minus the app’s facilitation fee.
What if nobody is reserving my time slots?
There may be other Listeners with the same expertise, but offering time slots at a different time of day or at a different rate that may be more attractive to users.
