الوصف
FileMaker Server Admin gives FileMaker administrators a fast, native way to see what’s happening on their FileMaker Servers without needing to open the web-based Admin Console.
Connect to multiple FileMaker Servers and quickly review server health, hosted databases, connected clients, schedules, configuration, authentication settings, connectors, licensing, certificates and more.
YOUR SERVERS AT A GLANCE
The Overview dashboard puts the information you need most in one place:
• Server connection and status
• FileMaker Server version
• Hosted database count
• Connected clients
• Schedules
• FileMaker WebDirect status
• FileMaker Data API status
• ODBC/JDBC status
• License expiration date
• SSL certificate expiration date
Expiry information is clearly presented so you can spot approaching license or certificate renewals before they become a problem.
DATABASES
See the databases hosted by each FileMaker Server, their current status and the information reported by the FileMaker Server Admin API.
CONNECTED CLIENTS
Quickly see who is currently connected to your server and review the details FileMaker Server provides about each client connection.
SCHEDULES
Review configured schedules and their details, helping you verify the automated processes configured on your servers.
SERVER CONFIGURATION
Explore FileMaker Server configuration from a native interface, including:
• Server status and metadata
• General settings
• Security settings
• Administrator contact information
• Database folder settings
• Persistent cache
• Parallel and progressive backup configuration
• Client settings
• Database visibility and filtering
• Authentication providers
• FileMaker WebDirect
• FileMaker Data API
• ODBC/JDBC
• XML and PHP configuration
• Plug-ins
• Licensing
• SSL certificate information
• Script Error Log on supported FileMaker Server versions
Availability of individual information depends on the version and configuration of FileMaker Server.
MULTIPLE SERVERS
Manage a list of FileMaker Servers in one app.
Give each server a recognizable name, switch quickly between servers and keep production, development and other environments organized.
BUILT FOR APPLE DEVICES
FileMaker Server Admin is a native Apple app designed specifically for iPhone and iPad, with an interface that adapts to each device.
A Mac version is also available, providing a desktop-oriented administration interface for larger screens.
SECURE CONNECTIONS
FileMaker Server Admin communicates directly with your FileMaker Server using its administrative interfaces.
Administrator passwords are stored securely in the Apple Keychain.
Support for self-signed certificates makes the app practical for development servers and private FileMaker Server installations as well as publicly accessible production systems.
READ-ONLY BY DESIGN — FOR NOW
The current version of FileMaker Server Admin is read-only.
It retrieves information from your FileMaker Server but does not change server configuration, modify settings, close databases, disconnect users or perform other administrative changes.
This makes it useful for checking a server from your phone or tablet without the risk of accidentally changing its configuration.
Future versions are planned to introduce administrative and management capabilities that can write changes back to FileMaker Server, with appropriate safeguards and confirmations.
DESIGNED FOR FILEMAKER ADMINISTRATORS
Whether you manage one FileMaker Server or several, FileMaker Server Admin is designed to make routine monitoring faster and more convenient.
Check a server from your desk.
Check it from your iPad.
Check it when you’re away from your computer.
