JoinSelf Developer
The JoinSelf Developer App (JSD) enables developers and authorizers to build and test Self tools and services in their applications and workflows. This app is specifically designed for developers—it doesn't include consumer functions.

JSD is free, simple, and powerful. Any data verified and stored in the app stays only on your phone. Self Group has no access to your personal data—we don't even know who you are.

Key features of the JoinSelf Developer App include:

AUTHENTICATION TOOLS - Identify users and control access using biometrics and verifiable credentials, eliminating the need for traditional passwords, usernames, and account numbers. JSD enables identity verification without disclosing personal data (unless necessary). Use it to prove age, provide credentials like driving licenses, or log into services.

SECURE COMMUNICATION - JSD features an end-to-end encrypted messaging stack. It serves as both an internal communications tool and a test environment for integrating Self Messaging into your apps.

SANDBOX FUNCTIONALITY - JSD includes a toggleable Sandbox environment for both testing and production workloads in one app. Work with synthesized test data alongside real data when needed.

AN ADVANCED WALLET - Store personal data in the JSD wallet. Replace Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in company systems with a non-correlatable Self Identifier, under which non-PII user data is stored. This protects user PII from data breaches and enables building systems that operate outside GDPR and CCPA regulations.

CRYPTOGRAPHIC PROOF OF ACTIONS - JSD enhances messaging by converting any intent into a cryptographic proof. Sign documents, confirm receipt, verify location, or prove presence—all these features can be built into your application stack and tested through JSD.

IDENTITY CHECKS - JSD verifies thousands of government-issued Identity Documents and can cryptographically verify biometric passports. Users store all checks locally and can provide them as credentials when requested.
