Quick Start Guide:
- Download the Relay Server on your Mac where you want to remotely control your sessions from (https://github.com/qubitpulse/relay_server_rr)
- Start the Relay Server with `python server.py --port 1234` for a port number of your choice
- Connect your iPhone and Mac to the same private network or VPN (Recommended: TailScale, download here: https://tailscale.com)
- Make sure tmux is installed on your Mac (Recommended: HomeBrew, download here: https://brew.sh)
- Open up your terminal(s) and start new tmux sessions in them, `tmux new -s session-name`
- Open Really Remote on your iPhone, connect to the Relay Server, choose your sessions, and start coding anywhere!
Built for developers who use Claude Code and long-lived terminal processes. Orchestrate AI agents, build scripts, write code, develop apps, or monitor servers, without the need to check in or physically be at your desk. Go outside, get some sunshine, exercise, and don't miss a minute of your development schedule.
Requirements:
- tmux installed and running on your Mac
- A secure network connection between your iPhone and Mac, such as Tailscale (Recommended), WireGuard, a VPN, or local Wi-Fi
- The Really Remote Relay Server running on your Mac (open-sourced: https://github.com/qubitpulse/relay_server_rr)
