SSL Checker
SSL Checker is designed for cybersecurity enthusiasts and website owners who have websites with Secure Socket Layer certificates installed. With this app, you can quickly check the current SSL status of any host. If there are any issues with the certificate, the app will inform you of the problem. It can identify if the certificate is self-signed, not issued for the checked host, or expired. When you check a host, you can also start monitoring it. By monitoring, the app will detect any changes to the host’s certificate and track its expiration date. If an SSL certificate for any monitored host is about to expire, the app will send you a notification to remind you to renew it. This way, you can eliminate the risk of forgetting to renew the certificate for your host on time.

SSL Checker is a simple yet powerful iOS app designed to help website owners avoid unknowingly or accidentally letting their SSL certificate expire. With the increasing use of SSL to secure the web, keeping track of certificate expiration has become a growing concern among developers. This app takes that headache away by notifying you when the certificate for any of the hosts you are monitoring is about to expire. Additionally, it color-codes the hosts whose SSL certificates are nearing expiration, so you know when it’s time to start worrying about renewal.

While many SSL issuers currently notify hosts, these notifications are usually sent via email. With the large number of promotional emails these issuers send periodically, it’s easy to overlook or ignore the important emails containing SSL expiry notices, which can result in the SSL certificate expiring. To prevent this, it is highly recommended to use this app as a backup for receiving SSL expiry notifications.
