How to achieve this? We need to listen more. We can watch our favorite foreign language TV series, and naturally learn by listening more.
But listening more also has techniques. If we repeatedly listen to a two-hour movie, it will take a long time to truly understand it. Because when we finish listening to a sentence and want to listen again, the same sentence was heard two hours ago. Although there will be some memory, the efficiency of memory will be greatly reduced.
In order to deepen the impression while we still have it, we need to repeatedly listen to one or two sentences several times, and then continue to the next segment. This way we can immediately deepen the impression.
If we use a regular video player, we need to manually rewind, which is troublesome and the rewind time point is not accurate.
Based on these ideas, I developed this video player called 100LS.
It can easily set sentence-by-sentence repeat playback. For example: play two sentences per round, repeat three times, then continue to the next segment. The number of repetitions and sentences per round can both be set. This way, a movie can be listened to multiple times with repetition, greatly accelerating memory speed and improving learning efficiency.
