I think of the work I do as “fun self-therapy,” because I believe that while healing our emotional pain is necessary in order to live full lives of happiness and purpose, the process does not have to be dark and exhausting to achieve positive results.
In my program, I’ll guide you through a series of visual and tactile projects
sequentially designed to aid in the process of recovery. Not only will you walk away feeling lighter, happier and more equipped to pursue your dreams, you’ll also have inspiring pieces of art that tell your story and add beauty to your environment. And no skills required!
Has something poisoned/crushed/tried to completely destroy the life in you? Is there a piece of your story that needs restoration? Are you a survivor in need of artistic flow to tell your story?
How are you supposed to express yourself and feel alive if you aren’t feeding the muse?
Is it actually possible to be honoured in your story of struggle without feeling isolated and shut down?
And how do you find the TIME to go see a particular therapist… when you
just really need more fun and joy in your week and have extensive other full time demands?
Should you even try to pick up a paintbrush (or other fun tool) when you don’t
have a clue what you are doing and this would most certainly lead to more strange looks?
You really wish you could tell it like it is but not use words. You wish you could explore it all in colour and texture and above all, safety. Maybe then you could feel a little bit more together and put some things behind while finding clarity for the future. Right? I know, because I HAVE been through devastating storms and have created my way out of various holes. As a seasoned professional artist, it has been my habit for decades to turn to creative flow for healing perspective and clarity.

also ridiculous play. We will make and build things that help us find
