描述
de naam FROCOLE; FROCOLE staat voor Feedback en Reflectie in Online Collaboratief Leren. Met
behulp van de FROCOLE-app kunt u uzelf en uw groepsgenoten feedback geven op een aantal criteria
(max 9 indicatoren) die te maken hebben met samenwerkend leren en met groepsdynamica.
Vervolgens kan de feedback als input dienen voor reflectie. Om snel inzicht te krijgen in de feedback
zijn deze visueel gemaakt middels radardiagrammen die er als een soort spinnenweb uitzien.
Het aantal criteria kan vrij gekozen worden met drie als minimum. De docent kan de feedback
criteria bepalen. Op basis van wetenschappelijk onderzoek is een default set criteria samengesteld
waarvan een deel (5) verwijst naar het individu in de groep en een deel (5) verwijst naar de
groepsdynamica.
De FROCOLE-app heeft twee diagrammen. Het eerste radar diagram visualiseert de feedback op het
individu. In dit diagram geeft u uzelf en ieder lid dat deel uitmaakt van uw groep feedback. De
feedback op uzelf en die van een ander groepslid wordt middels een lijn in verschillende kleuren
weergegeven, terwijl de gemiddelde beoordeling van de groepsleden als een gekleurd oppervlak
wordt getoond. Hierdoor kunt u zien of de groep anders over u denkt dan uzelf. Zit daar verschil
tussen, dan kan dat een reden zijn om het tijdens de regelmatige groepsoverleggen te bespreken
(reflectie). Indien daar door een groepslid toestemming voor is gegeven, kunt u ook de zelffeedback
van uw groepsgenoten zien. Afwijkingen tussen de respectievelijke beoordelingen kunnen vervolgens
aanleiding zijn om te bespreken tijdens de regelmatige groepsoverleggen.
Het tweede radar diagram visualiseert de feedback op de groep als geheel. Hier krijgt u de
gemiddelde beoordeling te zien van hoe uw groepsgenoten de groep hebben beoordeeld. Tijdens de
regelmatige groepsoverleggen kunt u ingaan op hoe de groep als geheel functioneert bij de
uitvoering van de groepsopdracht.
De FROCOLE app is ontwikkeld door de Open Universiteit, faculteit Onderwijswetenschappen en
medegefinancierd door SURF. Het ontwikkelteam bestond uit Karel Kreijns, Maartje Henderikx, Wim
van der Vegt De vormgeving en ontwikkeling van de app zijn uitgevoerd door Jaak Crasborn en Gijs
Bazelmans van Crasborn Communicatie Vormgevers en XR-Group.
