描述
En effet, la Mission laïque française a pour but la diffusion à travers le monde de la langue et de la culture française, en particulier par un enseignement à caractère laïque et multiculturel. Le Grand Lycée Franco-Libanais de Beyrouth fait partie du réseau Mlf Liban avec les Lycées Franco-Libanais de Habbouche-Nabattieh, de Nahr Ibrahim, de Tripoli et de Verdun.
Situé au cœur du quartier d’Achrafieh, Le Grand Lycée, établissement d’excellence, prépare ses élèves aux examens officiels tel que le Diplôme national du Brevet, le Brevet libanais, le Baccalauréat français séries L, ES et S, le Baccalauréat libanais et le Bac option internationale. L’équipe de direction est composée du proviseur Brice Léthier, du Directeur administratif et financier Fabienne Jankowski, des proviseurs adjoints lycée et collège, Sandra Pardo, et Christine Danzas, du Directeur adjoint libanais Antoine Salloum, et des directrices d’école Sandrine Lasserre et Christine Vandromme.
Tout au long de son parcours scolaire, l’élève est encadré par les enseignants, les conseillers principaux d’éducation, les documentalistes, et le conseiller d’orientation ; sans oublier le soutien des psychologues, des infirmières, et de l’orthophoniste.
Dans le cadre de son projet d’établissement, le Grand Lycée développe les axes suivants:

- Développer, optimiser et moderniser l'établissement
- Accompagner la vie de l'élève dans une démarche d'éducation à la citoyenneté
- Poursuivre le développement de la formation du personnel dans le cadre du PRF et à l'interne
- Garantir une éducation plurilingue et interculturelle de haut niveau
- Affirmer la politique culturelle de l'établissement
