Description
Cette jeune et dynamique société est spécialisée dans les domaines de la pollution de l’air, de la pollution de l’eau, du changement climatique et des déchets.
Sensibilisé très tôt aux problématiques environnementales auxquelles est confronté l’archipel Guadeloupéen, son président Thomas PLOCOSTE choisit de se spécialiser dans l’étude physico-chimique des polluants en milieu tropical. En 2008, lors de son stage de fin d’étude de master 2 à l’Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique des Antilles (Duclos – Petit-Bourg), ses travaux de recherche portèrent sur l’impact de la pluviométrie et de l’évapotranspiration en Basse-Terre de Guadeloupe pour un modèle de lessivage de la Chlordécone.
Puis, suite à ces travaux effectués de 2009 à 2013, il rédigea, à l’Université des Antilles (Fouillole – Pointe-à-Pitre) une thèse sur la dispersion nocturne des polluants atmosphériques issus de la décharge de la Gabarre.
Son intégration à l’Université des Antilles de 2013 à 2018 en tant qu’attaché temporaire d’enseignement et de recherche, puis ingénieur de recherche, lui a permis de poursuivre ces travaux de recherche sur la pollution atmosphérique en milieu tropical.
