Om du har lisens på Lingdys Skole, så får du hjelp med å finne ord raskere gjennom kontekstbasert ordprediksjon og hjelp med å lese tekster.
Med lisens på Lingdys Pluss får du en lese- og skrivehjelp i iOS-appen Lingdys som er utviklet for å hjelpe deg som har dysleksi eller andre former for lese- og skrivevansker. Med Lingdys Pluss-lisens gir Lingdys tilgang på en stavekontroll som er spesialtilpasset for dyslektikere og muligheter for ulike opplesingsstrategier. Du får også forslag til ord mens du skriver basert på andre ord i teksten din (kontekstbasert ordprediksjon). I Lingdys-appen får du også en kontroll på setningsnivå av setninger med ord som er brukt feil i sammenhengen (f.eks. «hjerne» og «gjerne», «fot» og «fort»). Det er mulig å sende tekst fra et dokument i Lingdys til andre tekstbehandler-apper, f.eks. Word, Pages, Google Docs, m.fl.
Både Lingdys Skole og Lingdys Pluss brukere kan bruke Lingdys-tastaturet som følger med i Lingdys-appen. Tastaturet kan brukes i andre tekstbehandlere og tekstfelt på iPhone/iPad. Tastaturet gir skrivehjelp og opplesing av tekst. For å bruke Lingdys-tastaturet, legg det til i iOS-appen Innstillinger under Generelt > Tastaturer > Tastatur > Legg til nytt tastatur… Og velg «Lingdys Tastatur - Lingdys». Tapp på tastaturnavnet når det er lagt til og gi det full tilgang.
Kombinasjonen av programmets funksjoner gir omfattende og effektiv hjelp til lesing og skriving. Lingdys finnes på norsk, engelsk, tysk, fransk og spansk. Godkjent for bruk på tentamen og eksamen.
