Den är lämplig för barn som är 5 år och uppåt.
Ljudlek fokuserar på att lyssna efter enskilda språkljud vilket
har visat sig vara det som har störst effekt på läsinlärningen. Det ska vara lustfyllt att
lyssna efter ljud och lära sig läsa och därför innehåller appen 5 olika aktiviteter som är roliga att göra och där man får belöningar i form av animationer.
Att förstå kopplingen mellan bokstav och ljud är avgörande för att kunna läsa/avkoda ord och därför finns bokstäverna med hela tiden i övningarna.
Vi har använt bildsymboler för språkljuden, t ex orm som väser för s, pojke som slickar glass och säger mmmm för m. Detta för att tydliggöra språkljuden för barn som ännu inte kan höra vad ord börjar på och alltså inte är hjälpta av en bild på orm för att
komma ihåg o-ljudet. Det har visat sig extra viktigt med en sådan konkretisering för barn som tycker det är svårt att lyssna efter ljud och att komma igång med läsningen.

Ljudjakt 1 innebär att man lyssnar vilket ljud ord börjar på. Man har två ljud i taget att välja på, t ex s-m, f -n. Börjar sol på S eller M? Börjar matta på S eller M? Eftersom man inte behöver fundera på flera ljud än två är det ett bra spel att börja med.
Ljudjakt 2 är lite svårare. Det är tre ljud att lyssna efter i taget, t ex p-v-l. Vad börjar lingon på? P eller V eller L?
Vad kommer sist? Att lyssna efter sista ljudet i ett ord kan vara svårare. Därför har man bara två ljud i taget att lyssna efter. Slutar "kam" på M eller T? Man får själv välja vilka två ljud som ska jämföras.
Höra skillnad 1 är ett lite annorlunda sätt att lyssna efter ljud. Man ska hålla två ord i minnet och lyssna om de börjar på samma ljud eller på olika ljud. Här får man också välja vilka ljud man ska jämföra så variationsmöjligheterna blir många.
Höra skillnad 2 är nästan som Höra skillnad 1 men nu är det förutbestämda alternativ. De två ord som ska jämföras skiljer sig åt med bara ett ljud vilket gör det svårare att höra. Låter pil - bil lika eller olika? Låter pil - pil lika eller olika? Låter tand – tant lika eller olika
Appen är utarbetad av logopeder med lång erfarenhet av att arbeta med barn med tal- och språksvårigheter. Vilka ljud man kan lyssna efter är genomtänkta och valmöjligheterna gör det möjligt att göra det svårare eller lättare efter barnets nivå. Appen Ljudlek är lika rolig och utvecklande för alla barn.
