This will give you a ballpark figure that's usually close enough for what you need. For instance, if you're trying to calculate 20% of 100, you could round up to 25 and multiply by 4 (100 divided by 4 is 25). This would give you an answer of around 100.
2. mental math: One way to make calculations easier is to do them in your head. This might take a bit of practice, but it's worth it! You'll be able to do simple arithmetic without having to reach for a calculator all the time.
