A gentle, fun way to introduce your child to numbers.
An elementary and enjoyable introduction to numbers from 0 to 9.
The first task for any budding mathematician is the curiosity of sorting and searching. This app accommodates this passion by introducing them to shuffling different block lengths and then moving on to recognising the number letter with the number of blocks. This is completed with a matching quiz.
The app then moves on to counting pigs and ducks and testing the understanding of numbers with the letter number.
Finally, the child can practice writing the letter number shapes with a handy summary screen to show how they are getting on.
SHAPE
Shapes come in all shapes and sizes!
This app is designed to introduce your child to the primary two and three-dimensional shapes. The number of sides differentiates the forms, and a short quiz asks for confirmation that conditions can be matched, nothing too serious!
A concentration game is provided where the child needs to turn over the right cards to match the shapes. For the competitive amongst you, there is a scorecard with a time for completion.
COLOUR
Give your child a head start before getting to school, and engage them in colour recognition in a fun and simple way. Show them the basics of primary and secondary colours.
A gentle and engaging introduction to the primary and secondary colours that preschool children can start distinguishing and naming. As with all these applications, they have been tested on a large group of preschool children and carefully adjusted to make them more intuitive and educational.
