Research shows that flashcards are one of the best ways to study: they help with information retrieval, or recall. Recall of memory means that you are able to quickly access information learned in the past, which has been stored in your brain. Flashcards are one of the best ways to practice information recall. Using this Praxis App, you will practice remembering Praxis concepts so that on test day, you will easily be able to recall this information, even under pressure.
Research also shows that spaced repetition, or seeing the same concept repeated many times while you prep is the best way to practice recalling information quickly. This Praxis practice app uses an algorithm based on the Spaced Repetition Technique. The Spaced Repetition Technique comes from academic research, which shows that memories are formed by repeated exposure to new information at different intervals. When you practice with this Praxis prep App, you’ll notice that concepts are tagged as "mastered", "reviewing" or "learning". Concepts that you are "learning" will appear most frequently, until you master them, and then they will appear less frequently so that you can continue to review them.

This Praxis App underwent rigorous testing with students. We have used student feedback to continuously improve the content and clarity of our flashcards. The result is an engaging and seamless experience that lets you focus on learning without any distractions.
We intended for this app to be for Praxis practice only, but have since found that it is very helpful for teachers prepping for any licensing exam, as well as other standardized exams for which basic math and verbal skills are tested such as the GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, SAT, ACT and GED. All of our students find the Praxis math sections especially helpful
