描述
La tecnología, desarrollada por académicos de las Universidades de Talca y de Aveiro de Portugal, permite a padres y profesores determinar la necesidad de una evaluación por parte de especialistas.
Es un instrumento que busca identificar de forma rápida si los niños en edad preescolar tienen o no adquiridas las competencias de habla y lenguaje esperables para su edad, dentro de un desarrollo normal de la infancia.
Pueden evaluar distintos parámetros correspondientes al desarrollo lingüístico deseable de acuerdo a la edad del niño, y según los resultados, el algoritmo determina si se recomienda o no, la necesidad de consultar con un especialista. Permite la detección temprana de posibles trastornos, que pudieran ocasionar problemas de aprendizaje en los escolares.
Si el niño no alcanza la línea de corte hasta el final del grupo de edad deberá ser encaminado para una evaluación detallada de lenguaje y habla realizada por un fonoaudiólogo.
