Key features:
#1- Home page:
Choose cards from the groups for either the session (My Room) or for enhanced communication (AAC):
- Add cards to the board (My Room) or to AAC.
- Customize the card:
- Change the card image: Users can replace the default card images with images of their choice, allowing for personalized and interactive application use, such as --- changing family images to their own family photos.
- Add additional images: Up to two additional images can be added to each card to enhance the concept of generalization for children.
- Record an additional voice for each card: Users can add another voice if they wish, such as recording the specialist’s or parent’s voice, or even the child's own voice, - enhancing interaction and motivation for the child.
- Add a video to each card: A video can be added to each card to enhance visual learning.
#2- My Room(board):
- Copy and delete individual cards or clear all cards at once.
- Customize the board display by setting the number of cards per row and adjusting the spacing.
- Board background options from available images or colors.
- Display cards as text only with control over the background and text color.
- Arrange cards as needed.
- Make the cards double-sided.
#3- AAC part and sentence formation:
AAC:
- Card area (body): Users can rearrange cards, delete them, or clear all cards. They can customize the number of cards per row, adjust horizontal and vertical spacing, change the card area background, and set the speaking speed. Cards can be displayed as text only in the body or the top bar.
- Top bar (sentence strip): For forming sentences when clicking on the cards and pronouncing them. The bar includes buttons to remove an individual card, clear all cards, and play the full sentence.
Blank AAC screen:
- The AAC screen is intentionally left blank for each child or user to fill with the cards and pictures they need only, providing a personalized experience. This allows the user to avoid cluttering with unnecessary cards, with the ability to delete or rearrange cards as needed.
Additional features:
#4- Offline functionality: The application works entirely offline, with images, sounds, and videos stored locally on the user's device. This ensures that all changes are retained even if the phone is turned off and on again.
# How to use:
- Fill the "My Room" or "AAC" pages:
Users can long-press any card on the home page to activate the selection feature. After selecting the desired cards, they press the button at the bottom left of the screen to choose "Add to My Room" or "Add to AAC".
After adding the cards to the desired screen, users can press the same button to choose to go to the "AAC" or "My Room" page. Each screen has a small button (to avoid user distraction) through which current screen settings can be accessed or other screens can be navigated.
Customize the cards:
- To add or change images, add sound or video, or control card properties on any page, users can simply double-click the card they want to modify or use one of its features. The addition and modification options will appear for the user easily.
