The Decider Skills App
We know that mental health problems are increasing, the affects of stress, anxiety, depression and suicide are impacting our whole society. Traditionally mental health care has been reactive, evidence now supports a more positive approach to mental health and wellbeing that is proactive and preventative, The Decider skills are changing lives and saving lives too. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an impressive evidence base, the Decider skills are CBT skills that help us tolerate distress, be more mindful, manage our emotions and improve communication. We have distilled complex psychological theory into highly effective evidence based skills that are engaging and memorable. Fun, user friendly, made easy to use and easy to teach. We provide a complete programme for individuals through the whole organisation. For mental health services the 32 decider skills provide a whole system approach to treatment. This enables consistency and a common shared language for clinicians, clients and carers. The Decider life skills are 12 skills for all individuals and organisations. Proactive mental health for everyone. The Decider skills are winning strategies for mental health.
