描述
App4Talent geeft inzicht in talenten en kwaliteiten van studenten. Met deze applicatie kunnen studenten op eenvoudige manier praktijkopdrachten vastleggen in een digitaal portfolio. Middels foto- en videobeelden kunnen studenten hun praktijkervaringen zichtbaar maken aan hun docent. Docenten kunnen realtime de opdrachten van de studenten controleren en evalueren. Zo heeft de docent altijd zicht op de ontwikkeling van de studenten. De docent evalueert en beoordeeld opdrachten van student via zijn eigen inbox. Zo kan de docent de ontwikkeling van de studenten monitoren en bijhouden. Tevens kan de docent op afstand opdrachten voor de studenten klaarzetten. De studenten krijgen deze opdrachten toegestuurd naar hun app.
Leerlijnen
Tijdens het uitvoeren van praktijkopdrachten laat de student zien dat hij beschikt over competenties of kan er gewerkt worden aan andere leerlijnen. De voortgang van deze competenties/leerlijnen wordt door de docent in App4Talent bijgewerkt en is voor de student op ieder moment zichtbaar. De docent geeft de vordering van de competentie/leerlijn aan tijdens het beoordelen van de opdrachten. Zo is de student in staat om zijn leerproces te sturen naar de leergebieden die extra aandacht nodig hebben. Lesmateriaal kan specifiek per student aangeboden worden waardoor leertrajecten op maat gegeven kunnen worden.
Portfolio
Doordat de student bewijs verzamelt van zijn praktijkvorderingen ontstaat er een portfolio. De student kan zelf bepalen welke bewijsstukken hij inzichtelijk wil maken. Deze kunnen aangevuld worden met een zelfpresentatie en aanbevelingen van bijvoorbeeld de werkgever. De profielpagina kan een student gebruiken voor het aanvragen van een examen of voor sollicitaties.
De docent
App4Talent maakt het mogelijk voor een docent om op ieder moment inzicht te hebben in de voortgang van zijn studenten. De docent kan op individueel- en op groepsniveau opdrachten aanbieden en het leerproces sturen. Onderwerpen die in de klas worden behandeld kunnen gevolgd worden met een opdracht die de docent klaarzet in de applicatie van de student. Ook kan de docent opdrachten klaarzetten met als doel een specifieke competentie/leerlijn aan te moedigen
