Allein beim Wort "Stadtgeschichte" formt sich in Ihrem Kopf ein einziger Gedanke: langweilig!? Dass Stadtgeschichte spannend, lebendig und für die Gegenwart wie die Zukunft inspirierend sein kann, zeigt das VIRTULLEUM auf innovative Art und Weise. Bereit für diese außergewöhnliche Stadtexpedition?
Dann steigen Sie über das Smartphone bei einer Station über die VIRTULLEUM-App ein, wenn Sie gerade in Tulln unterwegs sind. Oder Sie lassen spielerisch das Schicksal der Würfel entscheiden. Diese stehen für die Idee des Zufalls und erzählen die inspirierende Tullner Stadtgeschichte neu: anhand von 30 ausgewählten Orten sowie 30 Objekten aus 5 historischen Epochen, zum Beispiel mittels einer römischen Maurerkelle oder einer frühmittelalterlichen Gewandspange.
Die individuelle Tour verknüpft geschickt die virtuelle mit der realen Welt. Mittels Stadtplan auf GPS-Basis werden die Besucherinnen und Besucher des VIRTULLEUMS zu 5 von insgesamt 30 historisch wichtigen Orten der Stadt geführt. Vor Ort sind die jeweiligen Stationen nummeriert und gekennzeichnet.
Das VIRTULLEUM wurde gefördert vom Land Niederösterreich, der NÖ Stadterneuerung und der Europäischen Union (LEADER).
